well folks, i had to move the blazer to a closer storage facility... like say 8 miles vice 256 miles... . yeah, and 31 dollars a month vice 175... .

i was adjusting the coupler height as this was being taken thats why the front was sitting low... all better now.

Whats in that box on the front? seems that if it were heavier than the blazer you should have put it on back.



I see hints of the smurf blue too! reminds me of a 1/2 ton short bed i did a few years ago for a friend. it was a frame off with all new front sheet metal, new to him cab and a bed that should have been thrown away. I asked him numerous times. "wanna change the color, nows a good time?" he wouldnt let me.

the box has my "shop" in it. engine hoist, tool boxes overflowing with tools and storage for various other odds and ends that dont fit in my barracks room. it weighs less than the blazer, but not by much. i COULD stand to move the blazer back a few feet but to be honest it is balanced very well right now. my girl has an 86 samuri that will fit perfectly between the blazer and the box. its on 35's with an all toy drivetrain. (im am VERY proud to say she built it all her self and did a great job) once the blazer is done there will be less weight in the box and a lot more on the blazer so balance will be alright with the suki on the trailer. the dodge will also be a dually by the time i am pulling it all like that.



i will be building an air dam for the box soon as i am only getting 12MPG (60mph) towing right now. with a more aerodynamic front i am hoping to gain 2 or so MPG. maybe i am wishing... i dunno.
