I JUST GOT MY 3 GUAGE W/SPEAKER APILLAR MOUNT BUT THE ONLY INSTALL DIRECTIONS THAT CAME WITH IT SAY TO ATACH IT TO THE STOCK A-PILLAR. I HAVE SEEN SOME THREADS IN THE PAST ABOUT USING THIS AS A REPLACEMENT A-PILLAR. ANY SUGESTIONS OR ADVICE? I DON'T WANT TO DRILL MY ORIGINAL A-PILLAR FULL OF HOLES JUST YET.

You are correct, you want to use it as a replacement. Just remove your stock one and save it. When you place the new one up there, it only takes one screw at the top to hold it in place. Just drill one hole through the pillar and into the metal frame. Then use a hide a screw cap to cover the screw, paint it along with your a pillar. I placed a small block of wood between the metal frame and the a pillar that the screw passed through, so it would be solid and the apillar would not move up and down the screw. Mine is tight at the bottom but some guys say there is movement down there, so they have put some padding of types to keep it in place. Wish I could post a picture for you. If you have any more questions or your a little confused cause I lost you just mail me and I'll explain it again. I'm sure you will find plenty of help from this awesome crowd. Good luck, Dwayne. :D :)

Too late....

Wish I would have thought of just replacing it. Had to drill a bunch of holes in mine to acommodate the wiring. Not to worried though as the gauges will probably stay with the truck. It's not even a year old and I bought it for the long term.

Either way don't be afraid of doing it. It took me about 6 hours start to finish (Not including hours reading posts here first). And it turned out great. There is a wealth of knowledge here just do some searches and you can answer most of your install questions.
