A Pillar Trim Paint

Does anyone out there know where to get trim paint to match the stock A pillar? I am mounting a set of gauges and I want to paint the new a pillar gauge mount from Genos to match the stock a pillar from my 03 2500. I went to Dodge, the only trim paint they can get is to match the lower color Which for my truck is dark slate, but not the off white upper color.

I bought some paint at a local hardware store but it looks like crap. If any one has a part number for this paint please post it.

Which pilar mt. did you get, 1,2 or 3ga. mt. ?

You could try going to a custom automotive paint store supplier that mixes their own paints and interior dyes. I had done this before for matching interior colors on older corvettes and it worked well. If it's a well equipped store they should be able to match your interior color and put it in an aerosol can. The dyes spray more evenly and look better than paint on interior components.

Yogibear, I have the 2 ga mount for boost & EGT, since I have a stick I don't feel the need for trany temp. Plus the 3 ga mount looked a little busy.

A good paint store will walk out to your truck and scan the interior color with a hand held machine then go back in and mix it.
