I haven`t been in a truck with a full set of gauges, & have a couple of questions. What order from bottom of a-pillar up would you mount the gauges, I have Di-Pricol boost , pyro, & fuel pressure with some kind of cylinder to keep the fuel out of the cab. I have also bought the fuel pressure adapter hose from Geno`s, where does it attach to the fuel system? I don`t have a problem drilling and tapping for boost & pyro , have to deal with these types of things almost daily working on boats. I have an EDGE EZ & PRO-GAURD 7 with pre-filter to install, but don`t want to install until these gauges are in to see what kind of difference these add-ons have on readings. Want to do this as soon as possible to get base line on liftpump , am at 34,000 + miles now! WHAT TO DO, WHAT TO DO. T. I. A. TJMIV:D Oo.

Gauges

I would mount my fuel pressure gauge on the top so it is almost at eye level so you can keep a close eye on it. Second would be the pyro so you can see it clearly. Third would be the boost. I would hook onto the the back of the fuel filter if you have the 2000 and above truck so you can see what's coming out of the lift pump. Now these are how i would put them. Somebody may have a different way to put them in.

i just did guages,,,, i didnt really see the need for fuel pressure in my application,,,,, but since you have a 24 valve,,, it's probally a good idea,,,, With my two pod,,, i put the boost on top and the pryo on the bottom,,, there so close that you can watch them both at the same time,,,,, i installed mine last night so that is all i have been watching (have forgotten about tach and speedo,,,, not a good idea with spring kit and city cops:rolleyes: ) but since you do have fuel pressure,,,,, i would put fuel pressure and egt next to each other,,,, but it realy is up to you because your only looking at 8 or 9 inches from top of the first to bottom of the last

P. S. ,,,,,, glad to se you going pre-turbo,,,,, since i id mind,,, i kow its the only way to go

 Thanks o1smokinram & Trizae for your help in this matter. Looks like fuel pressure, pyro, & boost top to bottom it will be! As I have mentioned before my TDR dues are the best money spent. Thanks A Million & have a great weekend ! TJMIV:D

Have you installed your gauges? I have a dual pod mount, fuel and boost gauge from Genos ready for installation next weekend. Any advise?

Just Installed Gauges

Just finished A Pillar triple install. . @ 82,000 miles. Fuel on top, next EGT then boost on bottom. Everything worked right away. this was a major project for me... . but even though the anticipation was downrite scary for me..... the actual project was not hard at all... many thanks to all the people who posted how to do it... ... I did use the boost bolt, so that was simple and quick... and drilling and tapping for EGT probe, went just as it was supposed to... Put my fuel sender on output of filter... as that is the place I want to monitor. 13 PSI at idle on original lift pump.
