Wiper started slamming the a- pillar tonight. Tried a search and came up with, sorry as usual. Someone have a thread for fixing this one. Thanks RJ

RJ2,

It sounds like your wipers are not "parked" far enough down on the windshield. Lift the wiper arm off the windshield. Take a small screwdriver, gently pry out the retaining tab that locks the wiper arm to the pivot shaft. Release wiper arm. It should be in a locked position off the windshield. Lift arm off shaft and reposition wiper closer to the bottom of the windshield. Its a splined shaft w/ no master spline. Pull up on wiper and push the locking tab back in.

I had a 97 gaser and the left wiper would make a loud noise when close to the A pillar. But it was not hitting the A piller, the wing was hitting the wind shield. If you go to Dodge and get the replacement blades, you will get wipers without the wing. Hope this makes sense.
