A question about a transmission on an 03 2500

I searched the archive here and found a guy who had a similar problem to mine, with regards to hesitation, stumbling etc... He said he went to 2 dealers and the second one diagnosed the problem within his transmission. He said they switched a sensor, solenoid, and a filter valve and that solved the problem. He had a 48RE. Would or could my truck have this transmission and could this be the problem.
