Hey guys. Hope everyone is well! I know this should be in the "Conversion" forum, but it really is more 1st Gen "motor" related.
I am in the middle of converting a 1989 Dodge Ramcharger(gas) to a CTD powered RC. I'm using the entire drive train out of a 1991 4x4 Non-IC, auto 2500. The axles, motor, wiring harness, steering column, etc are all moving over to the RC.

Now, the 1989 rc is fuel injected and has an electrical pump in/near the fuel tank. The fuel lines are the proper size and in "almost" the correct place.
Question 1: Can I or Should I utilize the electric fuel pump that is already there?
Question 2: If "yes" to #1, should I use the lift pump AND the electric together, or bypass/remove the lift pump. (Or remove the electric pump)
Question 3: Is there a limit to the amount of "rubber" fuel line that I can use. I would need to use approx 16" extra to reach the existing steel lines. O. K. or no?
What do you guys think? I know there has been some conversation about electric pumps in the past, but was hoping for some "new" input.
As usual, thanks for the input. This is going to be my wife's ride, but also a CTD that I can "tinker" with and learn some more about them.
