power stroke question

2-stroke oil in VW TDI?

1 week 80 hits between 2 threads in 2 different forums and not 1 reply. :confused:

Some days I am at awe at the info and knowledge here:eek: and some days I am at awe at the lack there of. :{

I hate to put a $220 part on that may or may not turn the light off. :rolleyes:

I can't believe there is nobody here that hasn't worked on the Gehl line of equipment.

I've used/borrowed a gas version of one last April. It was an old one.

It stalled on me and wouldn't restart until I took a big screwdriver to tap on the starter. I would have used hammer, but not enough clearance.

One of my neighbors felt sorry for me and he let me use his "new" Cat brand skid steer, it was diesel and fully enclosed (it was raining) and had heat and I believe A/C.

Sorry but I can't help you out. Good luck. Is there a "Gehl" forum that you can connect/browse/search with? Just wondering.

Try the Machinery section of AgTalk Home. You may have better luck with your Gehl question there.

Thanks for the link.

I checked out the sight and spent a lot of time researching gehl and it is all real basic likes and dislikes type of forum no technical input that I could find.

Well I tried the Gehl site with no response and the skidsteer forum is another site with little technical info and even less for gehl. :confused:

Looks like I might have to part with my $200++ to experiment as the dealer would also do.
