Hi Thomas, I have seen pictures of your truck with the Piaa 60XT lights in the front bumper. I would like to do something similar. I remember seeing pictures of a mounting system using threaded bar and some angle. Was this your pictures? I have search the site and can no longer find them. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

Thanks

Frank

The PIAA 60XT driving lamps are attached to a piece of aluminum channel installed above the lamps inside the bumper. The channel fits between the two bumper brackets and is attached to the brackets using aluminum angle. I believe I used existing holes. I was able to install, wire, and aim the lamps with the upper bumper fascia removed.

It was easy to mount the lamps with uniform spacing around them in the bumper opening. It is easy to aim the lamps. It's quite difficult to achieve the spacing and the aim at the same time!

The PIAA's are more rigidly mounted than the headlamps.

There are no directions other than the first paragraph of my previous post. Sorry!

If I ever remove the upper valence I'll take a few photographs and make a few measurements. If you have specific questions I'll see if I can help.
