I just ordered Applied Rotor Technologies front end brake kit for my 98. 5. The rotors wont be here for a while due to them being a relatively small company and can only use the nitrogen freezer once a month, but I should be able to get the pads sooner. From what I've heard and read, these are as about as good as it gets as far as brakes go. I also love the TDR 10% discount!Oo.

Will be following up with ease of installation, and the difference (for now) (ship Feb 8) the pads make, then the rotors ship Mar 1.

I almost went with their rotors for my 1 ton but decided to hold off for a while. Wasn't quite comfortable with their presentation.
Let us know how your project goes. Good luck.

I got them ordered for my '01. Won't get them till March. Had to get pads and new calipers as the current pads were literaly paper thin and calipers were leaking, they should hold me till March. I got 15% off due to the delay.

i put them on almost two years ago and like them alot. I went with new rotors and pads all around still have lots of pad left. The brake dust was reduced as well. I will be putting them on my 04 as soon as its time.

Ya I just finished installing the Performance Friction Brake Pads. Damn, these pads have alot of pad material! Here is a pic of the old ones i just removed:

As you can see, I was in dire need of new pads! These were the passenger side set, the driver side set had a few more miles left one em. That is a signal to me that i need new front right caliper. :{

The rotors will ship Mar 1 and I will follow up with the complete install of my ART front brake kit.
