Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) A/T not working right

After towing last week I now notice that the transmission seems to shift twice in second and also drive. Don't know if it's really a shift or the TC locking and unlocking. there is a 200+ rpm change as it cycles back and forth. It does this primarily under a no load situation at 30-35 mph. What's up with my transmission. Jeff

Probably the governor transducer & (or) solenoid.

Do a fluid change out and see if that helps.



Did on mine last week.



It's a cheap try and if it works, great. Can't hurt.
