Competition HT3B or B2?

Competition RR has NHRA trouble at Mission, BC

I think I heard of a truck going in the mid 11 sec. range Sat. in Seguin Texas I can't remember for sure , but I think it was CC12v, could be completely wrong, just thought I'd ask?

That's Joe, CC12V, he is from Corpus Christi a little south of San Antonio. He ran this on friday night. Here are the particulars:

60' - 1. 71

1/8 - 7. 4

1/4 - 11. 53

mph - 120. 6

Still working on the rear end. Said it leaves straight but still getting to much body roll to the right side of the truck. This is a 2 wd truck. Like most here, when a vehicle is making as much torque as these engines, it takes a while to get the truck to leave and stay hooked up. Joe said that on one pass he hit a spot between 1/8th and 1000 ft and literally "blew the tires away". Not sure if it was a oily spot or what.

Full Tilt Buggy Suncoast Automatic

Stock, No Plate, 180 HP pump (so says Joe) with Prince Injectors. Not sure what brand or size the injectors are. Runs LLLOOOTTTSSS of timing (+++++20. 0mm).

This truck has been lightened. Not sure of weight, but he has all stock glass (windows), no fiberglass body parts or panels. He has pulled the stock seats and installed dual race buckets (not sure of brand). It is a very early 98, 12v, automatic truck.

When we ran 11. 83@118. 3mph we had dyno'd at 743hp that same day. The truck tipped the scales at just under 7000lbs.

Dang if that is true and I'm at 775 on the dyno and 15 psi lower verses the road boost and I weight 6400 then I know I won't try that stunt... ..... probably break allot of stuff I can't afford.

Was it Jeff or Joe that ran these times bob? Did Jeff ever get a cage in? Good to hear that he got the engine problems finished. I'm sure he has more tuning to go too!!

just so that yall know, that's 1 texas truck in the 10's, and 2 in the 11's(one of them being a psd).

That's great Bob, you got it straight from the source. I hadn't heard about it, but way to go Jeff. I haven't talked to Joe (CC12V), but heard that Jeff had a throttle stick wide open on him while he was getting the truck ready to go. Heard it hung up (wide open) right after he shifted to fifth gear. Joe dropped the head gasket in the motor he has had forever. Got a replacement, a new set of twins (don't know who's) and promptly blew that gasket to (after o-ringing).

Those South Texas boys are sump'in else. Way to Go Jeff, Good job.

intresting. Jeff's truck is red and white...

#ad

but this one was all red you say?

that makes 1 in the 10's, and 3 in the 11's. Not to mention the truck that Chip is building.

And what has become of chris Strickland? Is he working on anything these days? Merrick is building one isn't he?

Dang, so many fast ones, all in one state. Oo.
