Just a thought, that maybe it would help lower EGT's about 50* or so if I bought the 3-4'' adapter plate and bolted on an HX40 downpipe? It would get rid of that horrible elbow (it actually shrinks down to less than 2. 75'' ID at some points), and I figured it sure would flow better. I plan on bolting on a 16 CM housing on my HX35 for now, eventual plans for either an HX40 or an HTBG turbo so I will need an HX40 downpipe anyway. Plus I also figured that this adapter plate would take up that extra inch that the 16 cm non WG'd housing is short of. Any thoughts?

sound good

my down pipe is 5" but that horrible elbo is still there in mine to I took a 5to4 adapter and sliced it to shrink it to 3 1/4 and weled it on as close as I could to the elbo I never liked the looks of the elbo and will remove it when my new charger arives mon (switzer with 4" out) should be a big EGT drop stock charger craped out 330K o well upgrade it right?
