Since we have been pounded by 4 hurricanes in 6 weeks... ... . i was wondering if i could use my truck to power a generator. I hate to go an buy a motor and generator. can it be done. how reasonable would it be. would it hurt my truck.

RealPower had a Duramax displayed at Terre Haute with a 12KW AC generator powered off the PTO.



They said that they are looking into a system for the Dodges with PTOs but have not found a donor vehicle, yet.
