Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) a vanaaken box verse engine/trannie stress

Hi,



I just bought a 1999 3500 4X4. I noticed it has a vanaaken box under the hood. I went to their web site and took a look at the product. They seem to boost a lot of power. Enough beating around the bush, will the vanaaken box shorten the life of my engine and trannie - 5 sp manual?
