A visit to the Funeral Home this afternoon.

Well I paid a visit to our local funeral home this afternoon to see a friend/coworkers 17 year old son. He will be laid to rest tomorrow 03/17/04. He and three others were victims of a senseless murder on Friday 03/12/04. Four victims total, my friends son was the only one that was still alive when bodies were discovered. He passed away Saturday 03/13/04. They all were tied up by the murder's and made to lie face down, then shot in the back of the head. It is believed there was more than one person that committed this horrible crime. Two different caliber bullets were removed, from each of the bodies. On top of that, friends son was driving his dads 1999 Chevrolet 2500 4x4 Crew Cab pickup, an the criminals stole it after they shot the boy's and one woman. The police have been posting the picture of the truck with license plate number on the news trying to locate it. This was my friends oldest son, he has another that is around 12 or 13 years of age. I pray that God ease's this family's pain they have a long road ahead.

Condolences Tony, this has been all over the news here in DFW area and they are now saying they think the boys stumbled onto a murder and were taken out with the original victims. What a senseless crime.



God Bless those innocent boys, and may the murderers feel His wrath.

After having a funeral for my oldest son almost 10 years ago, I understand what the family is going through. It breaks my heart when I hear or read something like this.



My prayers are for the families of all the victims.

That's a damm shame. I hope the bas... that done it, get caught by a packing citizen, instead of the police. Save us all some tax money. I lived in the area where the snipers in the DC area did their traveling, and not a day goes by that I pass that station, and think it could have been me or my family, and say a prayer for that poor guy that was just pumping gas. Prayers out to your friends and family too.

Jeff! You here all kinds of rumors, so until the police finish with their investigation, only then will we know the motive and truth. My understanding was the boy's where either returning to the house to retrieve a forgotten wallet, or giving the boy that lived there with his aunt a ride home. Anyway they had walked in on the crime in progress and all where shot. They did recover the 99 Chevy truck though, found it in Dallas, and the FBI have it at this time, also found two guns in the truck, it was found abandoned at a apartment complex off 75 & Royal LN.

Jengle: So far not really, The police say they have some suspects and several leads, but that's all they will say. Also my understanding is the woman that lived there (house where the murders happened) one of the boy's aunt, was working at one of those "check cashing" places an the suspects had followed her home that evening, I guess thinking she had access to where she worked an the safe. As far as I know the FBI still have the 99 chevy truck and I'm sure they are going over it with a fine tooth comb looking for evidence. I heard today at work the friend/co-worker is taking this week off an may return on the 29th. The week this happened he had took the week off (spring break) to be with his family. Hopefully he got to spend some quality time with his son before this happened.

No Updates So Far

Well here very soon it will be one year since this crime happened. So far no updates on catching the ones that commited this crime. I know my co-worker/friend has to be thinking about it real hard though. Just don't understand why they have not been able to put the finger on the ones that did it. We may never know for sure.

It's amazing that such a terrible crime doesn't even make it onto the TV news. I was not even aware of this. Up here in Washington state (and probably the rest of the country outside of Texas), the news producers feel it's much more important to cover every little insignificant detail about the Michael Jackson case and Marth Stewart getting released from jail. Oh, yeah, and Prince Charles upcoming wedding.

Nowadays, if you're not a celebrity, you're not newsworthy.

Yeah they did arrest, I believe three different guys, one I think was already in jail under some kind of drug related charge. My understanding is he had confessed to the crime and fingered two others in which they were arrested. The one that confessed some way got off by saying he was under the influence of a drug and really didn't know what he was talking about anyway all of it sounds fishy to me be there again I wasn't there and do not have all the facts. They were held for ninety days, and the authoritys could not come up with enough hardcore evidence to hold them any longer after the ninety day period. Actually one of the guys was completely cleared of any involvement the last I heard. I kinda think one of the others they arrested to start with, the police may really think he was involved, but cannot prove it, and no one is talking. If not caught in this life, I believe for sure in the next.
