Well it's actually the factory piece with a few slight modifications A local car audio shop (Northern Ca), who special in custom dash work installed it for me. It took about 4 days, the guy at the shop hand carved the dash to fit the A2 then moved my temp control to the cubby hole. The stereo was also re-located for a better fit. The entire face was sanded and was painted silver to match the two tone of my truck. There are a few slight blemishes here and their which I am taking the truck back in a couple weeks to get fixed.



The main problem with the install was the A2 monitor has so many different angles to it that the guy spent over 20 hours of carving to get it to fit right. He used some type of filler for the edges I didn't get a chance to ask him specifically what he used.



The location of the monitor is perfect for driving, both the passengers and the driver can see it easily.



The project wasn't cheap, but after I saw the finished product I haven't stopped smiling

Attached is a link to the website for the shop I had the work done. Ask for "Ivan", he is the owner and the one who did the work. He told me that he could do more of them without actually seeing the vehicle. He would need part of your dash, the A2, and your temp controls. As far as price goes you would have to discuss that with him. When I had mine done it was more of an experiment to see what he could do. He can build the dash anyway you like and price is dependent on your choice of style. Figure in the ball park of $1,000. 00 fully installed including paint. I am not in any way affiliated with the shop so that is only a guess.
