Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Abbreviations

Hello to all from a new subscriber and future owner of a late 2nd generation 4x4. I have read the FAQ section and followed almost every thread with great interest. The fuel cooling thread was quite interesting and I have learned a bit.



That said, my question is this, most all of the signatures at the end of the posts contain descriptions of the owner's machine. Where can I find a definition of what they each mean? DD2, BHAF, Genos mek, DDUFM, 285/75/16 ProComps, D25's, TAG, SBC Con OFE, RS9000s, Ray's. I realize that each now interest in life has it's own set of 'buzzwords' to go with it's technology, but I'm lost. Anybody care to take a shot at a roadmap for someone trying to understand the lingo?

One of the many things that you will learn here is that a lot of the members/posters either don't get up early on the weekend or they are not at work where they can surf the net.
