Stock banjo fittings and lines don't flow enough to feed a TOTALLY STOCK motor!!! Replace them with a Vulcan kit or similar no matter if you plan to modify or not!

I was wonder how much fuel can stock connectors tubes and fuel lines flow and at what size injectors you should upgrade them.

I've been trying to spark some interest on this subject in the HRVP44 thread. To answer your question; the oversize lines/tubes are pretty much reserved for the big dogs (I'd say 600hp+, but I could be wrong). Probably not much call for them on street machines.

TJ, plan to lose some idle quality (in gear) and some drivability with the auto if you switch to oversized lines and tubes.

Does it make it loop at idle and is it just more smoke you are refering to as far as drivablitiy?

Mine would die when pushing in the clutch and coming to a stop with the tubes and . 093 lines. I have just the tubes in now and the idle is somewhat lopey.

Ive got the 93 over cross tubes and lines. It lopes when it gets warmed up and it use to lope hard when i would come to a stop also. Almost to the point of die'n. When it just sits and idles it plains out but still has a little lope. It does it best when i idle through a parking lot, thats where it will idle and sound like it will dies also (has a long pause between lopes)

The only problem is, is that i have a hard time putting it into gear without it killing it. Im going to try and go back to stock lines and just leave the cross tubes in. It might also be something else i have to figure out.

We have seen no HP gain using lager injection lines or tubes. We have actually lost HP on the dyno using them and driving quality suffers. The OEM lines and tubes are good for at least 830 RWHP!

TJ, what he said.

Oh yeah i forgot to mention that when i put it in gear it takes me like 5 seconds to get it in. If i just drop it in it kills. Thats why i went to 100hp inj. to try it and it still does it. Thats why ill try just the cross tubes with stock lines next.

As in power loss i dont know. ive only dyno'd once at terra haute so i have no base line #'s.
