Hello all,

Im currently installing my brake controller that i have and im running into a snag, The harness was supplied to me from the dealer, that plugs into the the lower kick panel area were the e brake bracket resides. Ive wired it up and for some apparent reason i am not getting any display/power. Im not sure if there is a fuse or relay that needs to be put in the new truck (2007) that maybe im not locating. I have power to the harness and ground but wondering if the ground isnt that great. Whats your input?

I've got a Prodigy in my 2005. I got the Dodge connector from Prodigy so I didn't have to splice into the pigtail that Dodge provided. Thus, I just plugged the Prodigy into the blue connected that is WAY up in the kick panel, tape on top of a bundle of wires. Once plugged in, it just worked. My friends 2006 was the same. Maybe it changed for 2007, who knows.

Well, I think I might be able to help. I was installing a brake controller on my 2006 and spent over a day trying to figure out the same problem. If you look under the hood, driver's side, you might see a coiled-up wire that is not connected to anything. My finger is pointed where mine was in the first picture. This picture was taken while standing by the front driver-side wheel. This was the power wire that Dodge never connected from the rear of the truck through the firewall to the quick connect down behind the dash.

I took it to Dodge and they connected the power wire to the blue quick connect under the dash, connected the brake connector to it and everything worked great. If I am not mistaken, the wire is the blue one in the second picture. Be sure to look close, mine was coiled in electrical tape, which made it even harder to find.

Let me know if this helped, I will tell you the conversation I had with the service manager later... :-{}

What type controller are you installing? I put the P3 in my '07 with no problem at all. Everything worked from the git go.

Let me be very clear, mine was plug and play into the blue quick connect under the dash. The problem was, that blue connector was not 'live'. Dodge, after about 20 minutes of 'discussions', admitted they made a mistake.
