What effect would the, "timing only," setting on the DD-TTPM (True Torque Power Module) have on an otherwise stock truck? Any power gain, fuel mileage gain? Just interested here, not that I'd buy the thing and only run it on that setting. Just trying to figure out what would happen running that setting with my stock (previous to the TTPM) truck.

Any and all information would be helpful. Thanks, my Cummins brethren. #ad

Y2K 2500 Cummins ETC/DEE, SLT+, 4X4, Quad, LB, Intense Blue Sport, 3. 54 LSD, rear aux. springs (camper special), sliding rear window, all options except cab clearance lights including agate leather, totally stock engine, silencer ring removed, "stealth," mod to run fogs with high beam. No auto trannies in my home! Just say, "No!" to auto trannies.
 
The added timing seems to give some mpg. Also the box in that setting still serves as a boost control so you can burn the extra fuel from the DD injectors. "Someday" when you feel you "deserve" more power #ad
you can use one of those settings #ad
DD did a lot of testing of different timing, and the box is specially programmed with the amount of timing advance they have found best.
