Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) About to start bombing what to do to at first?

I have a 99 2wd with 80k it's still stock. I just got my edge comp yesterday and i'm getting my pyro/ boost guages anyday now. After that I will get a 4'' exh. Before I install all of these parts I'm concerned about the the at. With the increased power and mileage I want to beef it up before any failures. I was thinking of a tc and valve body. Or maybe just buying a built trans and doing it all at once. my goal is around 350 whp after some other upgrades. I rarely tow and when I do 6000 lbs at the most. I also have bigger tires 305's. What do you guys reccomend I buy and from who? I'm in so cal and I'd prefer to keep it local. tia

If all your looking for is 350 HP then a TC and VB upgrade should be more then enough. However I think you would find that almost all of us have said the same thing yet here I am at 490 looking for 600+.



As for next... . I would get a larger exhaust housing to help control EGT;s when you have the box turned up.



Ps. Dont forget to install the boost elbow.

BTW, I would look at DTT. Of course, I am kinda partial.

I would also look into a fuel pressure gage before installing anything to bring up horse power.

I think I'm going to go with the dtt tc and valve body. What do you mean by the boost elbow? I will install a fp guage also is the filter housing a good spot? thanks
