2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission ABS and air bag light on

I drove my truck one night and the lights were not on. The next morning, the ABS and air bag lights come on and never go off. I was looking to see if there was a common fuse, but did not find anything. Any ideas? Thanks.

If your cruise control is also dead it's your clock spring.

I think there is a common fuse and it is not really labeled as such... cannot remember which one though... .

I started looking into the problem this morning. I have three fuses that are not getting power, which gets power from same keyed source. If I use my Power Probe and feed power to the fuses and can get the lights to go off and the blower fan to start working. My service manual has a wiring diagram and I was trying to find a 33 pin connector with no luck. Ended up finding out that I am getting power to the key switch, but not coming back out on the C circuit. I ordered a new key switch and see how well I did with the diagnosis sometime tomorrow.

Just an update on what I found. I picked up the new key switch and opened the box. Included in the key switch is a wiring harness and a relay. The not so brite idea of Dodge running the full voltage for the blower motor circuit thru the key switch. I found a couple of burnt connectors in the old key switch. The directions were not as clear as they could have been and I could install the kit in another truck in 1/2 the time. Before buttoning everything up, I checked reverse lights, blower motor, ABS dash light and air bag light. Everything work again.

My 1997 did the same thing and i changed the speed sensor in the rear and it fixed it. You may want to check that.

There was a recall a few years back concerning the HVAC blower motor. Dodge added a relay and some wiring; maybe thats what you installed.

Yes, the ignition switch kit I installed had the blower relay wiring harness. It is always fun trying to figure out the wording of the engineer that wrote the instructions. A few more pictures would have been very helpful. Luckily, I had enough patience and mechanical ability to figure it out and it fixed the problem.
