2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission ABS & Brake instrument panel light

All of a sudden my ABS & Brake light on my intrument panel is lit and my speedometer does not work. The service manager said he has seen this before and it is probably a sensor. He claims my truck has five ABS or Brake sensors (I think). Has anyone come across this problem, is it indeed a sensor, and, if so, is there a way that I can determine which sensor is not functioning?



3500, 1998. 5 five speed with 82000 miles. Oo.

The sensor that I had trouble with is the one on top of the rear differential. When I took mine out it had quite a bit of junk all over it. I cleaned it off and put it back in and everything has been fine for 10k plus now. I think there is also one on the front dif as well. Easy enough to check out yourself.
