Good Morning TDR members. On my way to Phoenix 110deg my abs light and brake light came on, checked the fuse it was blown changed it out everything ok for about 10min then came back on but fuse was ok. Disconnected battery to see if system needed to be reset but same problem, all turn signals and brake lights work any info would be appreciated abs light is right in side mirror at night really annoying. Thanks again Packmule.

my abs/brake light was flaking out recently. i pulled the sensor out of the rear differential and cleaned it , put it back in and it started working fine. good luck. these dodges are one freakin thing after another... .

Shendren ,tried it no luck also did the plug up front and disconnected the batteries to see if it needed to reset itself, out of ideas any help would be appreciated thanks again packmule

If cleaning the sensor didn't work it may need replacing (and the wiring harness connected to the sensor may need replacing too). Parts are not too expensive, $20 - $25 each.

Or you can choose to ignore the situation. After 50 key cycles they will likely go out.

How long did you leave the batteries disconnected. Maybe you did not leave them disconnected long enough?

Cooker thanks for the reply. I disconnected the batteries then connected them again, so not very long at all. Can you buy a code scanner that will reset the computer? thanks again packmule.

Try leaving the batteries disconnected for about 15 minutes. A quick disconnect and reconnect is not enough to clear the memory in the PCM.

My ABS and BRAKE lights will come on if I happen to run out of Vacuum. When the Vacuum builds up, the lights go off. I have a 94 model truck, that now has over 144,000 miles.
