Ol' Blue had this problem about 2 years ago. ABS and parking brake lights would stay on. The brakes worked fine. I finally found the problem was in my trailer wiring connector. The cap would not stay shut and water had gotten in it and started to corrode on the terminals. Mine also blew fuses when this happened. The interior light would not work and blew brake light fuses. Replaced the connector and things worked fine. I would suggest looking at any additional wiring you may have added to the truck. It was very frustrating till I found the problem.

Yesterday, in the rain, my ABS & Brake light came on, twice. Both times for 15-20 min. and stopping and shutting down did not seem to make a difference. This happened once before about 1 1/2 years ago.
Braking did not seem to be affected.
Does anyone know:
Why this happens?
What causes this?
Is it a major problem or something we just live with?

When it dries out here I"ll
get under and check my connections.
The wiring I did was years ago and was a direct plugin tto the existing connjections.
Thanks for the advice.

If you do not have any extra wiring, then I would look at the connector for the ABS itself. That is located out back near the rear end. That may have gotten some crap in there and needs a good cleaning.

I solved this problem by removing the bulbs...

I'm with you Billy. I got tired of looking at mine so I removed the bulb. Everything works and acts normal.
