After replacing pwr steering pmp, replacing both front brake calipers & bleeding them, Now I have Brake & ABS warning lights ON. pwr steering now ok, but brake pedal seems to have excessive travel. Brake fluid level OK and truck seems to stop like it has adaquate braking power.

Where else should I be looking?

i know that mine has the abs &brake light on all the time, its because the wire that comes out off your wheel bearing has chaffed off on the brake rotor, and is not making the connection to the computer. the wheel bearing is gettin bad so i`ll wait to fix it,in the meantime i just put some black tape over the tormrnting light ha ha ha ha

That condition usually indicates that the Controller, Antilock Brake (CAB) is malfunctioning, has failed or that it is reporting a problem. Verify that each of its connectors is properly seated. Verify that any fuses and relays related to ABS and braking are working properly. Verify that the CAB's ground strap is well connected. Verify that all wheel/axle ABS motion sensors are properly connected and functioning.

Most likely? You have four wheel ABS and you failed to reconnect one or both front wheel sensors or accidentally dislodged one or both of them when you worked on the front brakes.

Abs/Brake

I was having same problem. It started just after I had my rear brakes replaced, and brakes worked ok. Just fixed it 5 min. ago. Replaced the Abs rear wheel speed sensor, $37 out the door at Napa. It also fixed a problem that started a couple of weeks after I had my brakes worked on; my speed-o-meter wouldn't register until I hit 30 mph.

Brakes - Got er Fixed

Pumped brake pedal hard - Depressed pedal to floor and started truck - Brake fluid was now pretty low. Filed reservoir, Depressed pedal and started again. Fluid was low again so topped it off again. Now: No ABS or Brake light!!

Have driven about 10 miles and seemes ok

Thanks for feedback!!
