I just had a new question turn up. While plowing I got hung up in the snowpile, I was in reverse with the tires spinning in reverse(at idle) my ABS and Brake warning light came on w/o applying the brake. It stayed on for 5 min. and went out. the brake light came on again today and went out quickly. Is something wrong or is this another oddity in the 3rd gens being able to trip the lights w/o applying the brake?:(

Make a quick check and make sure one of the wires to the abs sensors didn't get pulled off in the snow pile. On my 95, the rear axle sensor wire got damaged where the pins connect to the sensor, causing erratic antilock brake function.

Just worth a shot.

Wouldn't the light stay on all the time if a wire was pulled out ? And the ABS seems to be working correctly, but I will still look just to be on the safe side
