ABS code access?

Do codes for the ABS and brake systems come up with the on-off-on-off-on process? Or does it need to be accessed a different way? Thanks in advance once again!

have had the same problem ,codes would not show via the dash display ,had to take my 06 to the dealer to get it read ,he thinks its the abs control module ,

The codes for ABS are not ODB II bus codes.

The ABS controller is CAN bus and requires a DRB type scan tool to access and clear the codes.

To clarify, the ABS codes are stored in the ABS controller and need to be read with the DRBII before 06 and with StarScan on 06 trucks. CAN bus is only on 06 and newer trucks.
