Hey guys, as I was reversing my truck into my garage to day I noticed the ABS light come on for a second then went off, I pulled forward then reversed again to check it and it did it again, and I think I noticed a slight chatter/skip in my brakes, actually felt like it was the rear wheels/wheel doing it. Any suggestions as to my first step to troubleshoot?

Sorry I can't help you diagnose your problem. I was just going to say that I have owned 3 dodge diesel trucks and the abs lights were always going on and off on all three. I just don't worry about it. I service my own brakes so I know the condition of the pads and rotors and that is all I worry about. I'm not sure how the abs system works and what actually causes the light to come on.

The first step is to check the brake fluid and make sure it's topped up. Second, clean and reset the connector for the ABS sensor on top of the rear diff.
