ok here goes have a buddy that has a 94 reg cab cummins 5-speed truck. ok 6 months or so ago he was pulling a horse trailer and the brake line behind the fuel tanked poped as most end up doing. ok they replaced the line and reblead the brake and the light never went off. ( i had a 94 same make of truck do the same thing several years ago. when we bled brake light went out all was fine. ) hes like me don't like dash lights on and took to dodge, had them hook it up in the scanner or what ever and they told him that it would not even pull any codes and would not reset any ideas.

I don't want you to get the idea that I am blowing you off, but there is a ton of info on this subject if you do a search. There are several causes for the ABS light to stay illuminated.

Have someone get in the truck and press on the brake pedal and watch the light while you bleed one of the front brakes slowly, have him stop pressing on the pedal when the light goes out and yell for you to close the bleeder. That should do it. Ususally just pumping the brakes afte a line failure has been repaired and bled wil put the light out. bg
