Thought it was the usual, Wheel Speed Sensor. Replaced the one on the rear end, still don't work. Replaced the other one on the transmission, still don't work. It is on a 2000 4x4 Auto.

Symptoms:

ABS light

Check Engine light

No Cruise

No Speedometer

No Tripometer

NO Odometer

Any Ideas??

I've always been told by my DOCs, next in line to check is the ABS Module. I've never gotten that far so don't know any more about it than what I've heard.

Cheers,

Steve J.

Well take with a grain of salt on a 92 it would do that when the TPS would go out (had 26 replaced before they decided it was circuit board sending too much voltage to it) other than the ABS light that I would get with a blown ABS fuse

Speedometer ABS failure

We'll figured out what it was. Swapped parts with a donor vehicle. 2000 year truck we was working on has two speed sensors. One in the transmission and one in the rear end. Changed both of those with new ones. Still same symptoms. Suspected bad rear wheel sensor due to so many from here have had the same problem. Pulled the wheel sensor from my 99 and still no luck. New we had further problems. We then pulled the ABS Controller and swapped them and struck gold. It was the ABS controller. Same symptoms as every body else on here, "No Speedometer, No Tripometer, No Odometer, No Cruise, ABS light".

ABS controller from local dealer = $340
