Recent incidents stopping on wet pavement make me wonder if the ABS is dying.
Traveling along at highway speeds, 55 to 65, in town. The roads were soaked and the traffic thick. As you can guess someone decides to stop for some reason and I hit the brakes. Not REAL hard but firm. The whole truck started to lock up. I say the whole truck but maybe just 2 to 3 wheels.
In the past this truck has been a source of pride for it's wet weather braking. I did some towing recently, ~10K - 12K lbs, and did have to reset
the computer by disconnecting the battery for about an hour. Due to Edge Comp box problems.
So is there a way to trouble shoot this with out going to the dealer?
I have noticed a variance in pedal stiffness and travel lately. New front pads about 5K ago. What else can I think of... .....
New Michelin LTX tires, same as before.
I've lost a couple lbs to, but I didn't think DC would cut things that close
