Ac evaporator temp probe

Hello, I have searched this topic but have no real answers, I need a evaporator temp probe (thermistor) for a 2006 3500 Cummins single zone ac, long story but dealer scanned yesterday says temp probe is showing 5 degrees won't let compressor come on, dealership said no problem getting one well that was until today and wrong one shows up, my truck has a 03-08-06 production date, dealer says no longer available!! I have read and did for a 2000 mi trip hot wiring compressor....this is not the way to fix. Anyone? Thank you in advance

I asked same question earlier and thought I had found one per my dealers parts guy but he was wrong..
My solution go to a junk yard and pull one out! That's where I got mine for my 2006. They are very scarce though. You can lay on your back remove a few screws under right side behind and under glove box to get at evaporator. reach up there and you should be able to feel it and it.s connection to pull it out.

Thank you for the replies! It's looking like that a junk yard one is going to be the only hope! I just cannot believe Dodge/Mopar whoever can just stop making parts, guess I need to keep that in mind on next purchase!
