Ac fan blower acting up.

About a week ago got in my truck and the ac blower wouldn't work ac light was on and all of the vent selections worked. I could tell this because you could feel flow through air coming out of the vents when running down the highway when truck would stop so would the flow through air. After about three stops that day blower went to working again. Now to today the blower won't shut off when I turn key off. If I turn fan selector switch to off it shuts off. I know this has to be an electrical short, but where to I start. This is happening on my 03 truck.

Earlier this year I had this exact problem with my '05. Blower running was intermittent. I spent a lot of time and money chasing it. My short was in the blower motor itself. Replaced the blower motor and it has worked flawlessly ever since. The blower is available aftermarket for about $100. Comes as an assembly and can be replaced in about 5 minutes with a phillips #2 screw driver - irrc.
