2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission AC Help

#@$%! Help me out on this. I am a new member I have a 01 QC 2500 w/5 speed transmission. It is 4X4. My AC/ heater/vent acts up occasionally. It will go from hot to cold or cold to hot. When this happens the temperature controller has no effect. It does not matter what you have selected.

My A/C went nuts on my '97 and it was bad vacuum hoses. I would start by tracing the hoses from the vacuum pump.



Maybe someone who knows the 24 valve trucks will jump in.

Can someone help me on this? Are the doors on the HVAC vacuum or electrical?

Thank you. I went and remove the actuator and now if I move it by hand I have hot and cold running air. You the man.
