This is a real interesting problem. My AC is blowing and blowing nice and cold on the driver side; however, it blows warm to even hot air on the passenger side. It barely subsides at all regarldess of how far I drive.

I looked for an in-cab air filter of some sort thinking it might be clogged, but I could not find one and since hte air pressure is good, that does not make sense anyway.

Has anyone ever seen this before? What in thee world is going on.

Soemtimes it is the evaporator, sometimes simply the charge is low in the entire system.

Iam NOT trying to be cute, BUT the search engine here on TDR is your friend---

Here is what came up when I typed in "AC, Cold, passenger, driver, side"-

If it is not solved by any of the above posts, I would be very surprised!!

Have fun reading and let us know what your problem turned out to be !!

You are exactly right. I should have used the search feature. I am not really new to TDR, but I have just recently started to really utilize the site.

Thanks for the tip. I will see if the charge helps.

Glad I could help out... hope I didnt come off as pissy...

Are you going to charge the system yourself or take it in to a mechanic?

If you are taking it in, maybe they can check the pressures (hi and lo side) and help make a diagnosis, before they charge it. Of course if you are doing it yourself, likely it'll be easier and cheaper just to buy a charge kit and fill it and see what happens.

Let us know how it turns out.

My 05 just needed a recharge last summer and all is well again.

I thought it might be another problem so I took it to the dealer and in the end paid a little more for a re-charge than elsewhere.
