I'ts been real hot and humid lately, but is it normal for the AC to be drippping so much? Good size puddle on the ground after running the truck for a while

Yes - your A/C also de-humidifies the air. The higher the humidity the more moisture is pulled from the air hence the puddle or on the east coast a lake;)

Happy trails

Bob:)

And if you are silly enough to crawl around under your truck after the A/C has been running--NOT ME!

It'll almost always put a few cool drips right down your collar.

I just got through changing the oil on mine and i was lying in a puddle of water. Same as you said, it drips on the suspension.

I put a short length of plastic tubing on the evaporator drip spout and routed it down along the frame so that it drips directly to the ground. I didn't like it running all over the suspension.

It not only drips (pours) it sprays. My understanding is that blower front pressure helps evacuate water from the condensate duct and that this is intentional - reduces stagnation and mildew formation?! Mine definitely has positive air displacement when blower cranked.
