Well this weekend the high pressure line coming out of the condenser decided to abandon ship... The quick connector popped apart, spraying refrigerant all over and stalling the truck. The connector I'm sure is trashed as the spring is hanging out, I'm hoping the flange on the condenser is OK but it's hard to say. Anyway what might have caused this? Could the connection have been weak? I'm hoping to just replace the HP hose and have it recharged.
The AC had been fine up until 30 seconds before it came apart, when it stopped blowing cold air. For a couple of weeks I was having some mist blow into the cab when pulling outside air, but not on recirculate could that mean anything?
On an unrelated topic the batteries decided to give up this morning too... what's that they say about boobs and tires?. ?. ?. ?
