2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission AC question??????????????????

AC died and it is under warranty. Fan runs but no cold air just curious any simple answers? I'm sweating. This truck went 25,000 with no problems and I was happy. Now in the last 3,000 it's starting to live at the dealer

One possibility:

Unplug, then remove the low-pressure switch from the unit near the firewall. Shake it, somewhat gently knock it a bit, then re-install. If the A/C works again, buy a replacement. I don't think it's worth trying to clean it.
