I put one can in mine two years ago. Still blowing cold. Try that, even better study up on all the right conditions, I used the feel the accumulator while on a hot day air wide open with a fan blowing on my radiator. Kept charging until bottom portion of accumulator was not so cold indicating liquid and not just gas. The amount of liquid in the accumulator on a properly charged system varies with ambient and performance of other parts of system. Your success will depend on whether you have sprung a bigger leak or if this leak is just the gradual loss inherent in all systems. It won't hurt to try one can IMOO

Go to your local auto store, or KMart, Walmart, buy a 16 oz can of 134A without sealer if available... Purchase the recharge can with the hose and gauge, you can re-use next time. (on a hot day)Start your truck, open all windows and turn the AC on max, the kit will have a quick connect fitting that snaps on to the high pressure side, trigger the refrigerant into the system monitoring the gauge until it is in the properly charged zone.

It may take more than one can, and if you have to use the product with sealer, so be it, it's all I have been able to find the last couple of years. I have slightly overcharged my system(to the far upper safe limit of the gauge) no problem, discharge air will be slightly warmer but you wont freeze the evap coil like an under charged system will.

Charging via hi side?? Really

There is an ac port next to the radiator cap. The AC Pro recharge system will not fit it. Unable to find other port. Please help.

Low pressure connection is on the accumulator against the firewall. You may have to lean into the engine compartment a ways to see it. Right below the spot where the heater lines exit the cab. Assuming this is on your '06.

Found the port. It took half a can. We now have coooold air. I don't know what I would do without this site and your help. Big bucks I guess. Thank you.

Yeah, every once in a while one of those cans drops out of orbit. :-laf

YESSIR!!!:-laf

Reminds me of the guy that bailed out of an airplane and his chute didn't open... at the 10k ft level he met someone on his way up... he yelled "you know anything about parachutes?" The guy on his way up yelled back "no, you know anything about Coleman lanterns?" :)
