2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission AC shuts off over 45mph.

Took truck (99) to dealer because ac shuts off (compressor) over 45. They kept it a day and replaced the clutch relay. Said it was fixed. Drove the truck 3 miles - not fixed. Today dealer said PCM is turning off compressor at 45 and above. New PCM going in tomorrow. Anybody ever have this happen?

x-tended warranty-100,000/6 and I got 91,000 on truck.

So did the dealer get it figured out? What was the outcome?

The dealer replaced the compressor and it kept doing the same thing. Changed out ecm and problem solved. Computer would put (turn off) compressor in hard acceleration mode when speed went abve 45. Even if you were decelerating until you got to 45 I had no air conditioning. Now its fixed.
