2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Acceleration shutter and shake

I have a 98. 5 24v I put the truck in 4wheeldrive for the first time since last winter road were slick in spots this morning. When I accelerate the truck shakes really band it does not shake when driven just under acceleration any idea what is going on? I put on a front leveling springs this summer other than that nothing has changed since last winter do you think the spring lifted the truck enough to put my drive line in a bad angle? Any input would be helpful.

Your fuel filter is partially plugged and/or your lift pump is failing or both. Mine did the same thing last week, I checked the pump first, it's ok, changed the filter and ALL is ok. bg

It only does it in 4x4 and im running 10-15psi after the filter

Kris, check you front driveshaft u joints,and the ball joints/u joints on the steering knuckles. The driveline angle with the 2" lift shouldnt be enough to make it do that. IF there is a bad u joint ,it will aggravate it though.

Is it still within alignment specs after the lift?

it is in alignment specs I did go with a different size tire after i did the kit

Does the shaking happen at all speeds? How fast have you taken it in this condition in 4wd?

only got it to about 30mph just does it when getting on it after a stop light roads to slick to really get on it.

I missed it. Sounds like the front driveline as stated by Snowman. bg

got it fixed the 4 bolts that hold the drive shaft to the t-case were backing out
