I'm curious if anyone has made a modification to the accelerator pedal in their truck. I have been trying to get confortable with mine for six months. I've noticed there is a definite difference in the throttle response depending on which part of the pedal is depressed. The sweet spot seems to be the bottom part of the pedal where it attaches to the arm. The upper part has too much play before it makes partial contact with the arm which is curved at this point. There is spring tension on the upper part of the pedal, but it's weak. With my big, wide foot it is difficult for me to hit the sweet spot consistently. I've noticed this in particular when trying to rev the engine prior to downshifting. I guess I could cure this by just having the pedal to the floor all the time.

Bill,

Alluding to you last sentence, I get the best throttle response by putting my ENTIRE foot on the pedal and pushing it ALL THE WAY to the floor!:D :--)
