Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Accelerator won't go down all the way

I was driving down the road the other day after towing my boat with my 95 and noticed that my accelerator only would go down 3/4 of the way. I can push it down a little more after that if i put all my weight on it but the throttle won't open anymore. The thing that gets me is that this happened all of the sudden, because it was doing fine , then i stopped at a stop sign and when i took off again it only went down 3/4 of the way. Help me, it's taking away all my power!!! Thanks guys

Check your throttle cable where it comes out of the housing just before it connects to the linkage on the pump. It might be frayed.
