I don't recommend this, but.....

I wanted to check my new tire mileage so I turned the key on and forgot to shut it off for 2 days:eek: The batteries were completely dead and since it was plugged in to my dump trailer, that battery was dead. They were so dead that 30 minutes of charging with 2 chargers I still had to jump it.

Now my cruise works perfect, better than it ever has...what just happened here? I have never had the computer flashed.

And my tires, only 850 miles and the Cummins torque, already has them feathered:eek:

I hate when I accidentally fix something. It would be nice to know exactly what caused the fix so it can be repeated.

Maybe a reboot is better than having the ECM flashed?

I wonder if that is what happened? With my Juice, every level above stock it used to get worse, the higher the setting the worse it would get. Now I am afraid to change it off level 2 for fear it will revert back to the junky setting:)

Nick, didn't you recently go through a stint with tires? Recall or early failure or something? What did you get this time?

Yes, I had the failure/recall with the Toyo's. That was 2 years ago and a set of Michelins later (51k miles) I am trying a set of Mastercraft now, cheap Coopers:-laf
