Well, I'm installing my DTT VB today and when I pulled the old vb out, the accumulater piston and spring fell out. No big deal, the instructions said this would happen. However, the manual on page 21-708 shows a second inner spring which is not shown or mentioned in the instructions. I've looked all over the garage for this thing and can't seem to find it. Does it exist? No answer up at DTT. The phone that is.

If you can help, I sure would appreciate it.

Some don't have that spring. The instructions may not be accurate for you. My truck did not have that spring, but like you I dropped the accumulator so I didn't see how it came apart. I spent 2 days looking around the garage for that sping before I called Bill and he told me that it may not be there.

Good luck,

Mike

The manual is wrong. I did exactly the same thing. I compared DTT's instrictions to the manual after the darn thing fell out. Mine works fine now, don't worry about it.

Mike,

Just talked to DTT. Your right, the manual is wrong. Imagine that. I was lucky in that *Iceman* had Bill's home number and I was able to get a hold of him. Wasn't questioning Bill's instructions, just happen to run across a page in the manual that showed differently. Whew, I was a little frantic there.

Thanks for the response.

Tom
