Acme Diesel Inc - Looking for feedback on there rebuilt inj pump

May need to replace an injection pump and came across these guys... .

$369 for inj pump seems like a deal.



Any feedback or suggestions would be great.

Called today, they really do not seem to be to knowledgeable(parts guy just did not seem to care). Then was told the price on there site is wrong. I would say stay away.



Ok just called back and talked to the owner, just about the same. Just blamed the website error on somebody else and said well my price is $695 not $369 (like it was advertised). He then said thats a good deal anyways. He offered nothing for there error. I think I would rather spend a bit more and take my business someplace else.

They seem to have updated their price for the VE pump to $695, however I see nothing on their web page that indicates these are new injection pumps.



With no evidence to the contrary, I would assume they're selling rebuilt pumps. Not that that's necessarily bad given the price, as long as you know what you're getting though.

I just did not like the lack of knowledge and courtesy, even if they were less expensive I will go someplace else. If they are like this now, just think how bad it would be if you have a problem!! Check out my post on disc oem parts... . I can get a pump from dodge for just over $800! Karl
