I must be really tired b/c I can't tell where that big black plate is... I can see your dash to the left, but it looks like two pics in one...



Can someone clarify... dang beer!! :D

That is two different pics. The plate is holding the gauge, in the cubby hole directly below the passenger airbag switch off. Those with heated leather seats don't have this hole because that is where the heater switches are located.
 
oh! I didn't think of that b/c my 98 has that space occupied by the airbag switch and the space up top is where the extra power outlet is.
 
Yeah everyboby, the pic is 2 pictures. the holes in the plate to the right is the same holes for the cubby hole. you will need to put some washers behind the plate to bring it forward but it uses the same screws for the cubby too. Comes blank like you see so you can make whatever you want and any size, etc. I supply 12 washers so you put 4 washers per hole to bring it forward... ...



Hope this cleared it up.



My truck is a 01 and I don't have heated seats. it works for 99-02 only. I believe sport is included in the specs too but not sure... just not heated seats in those years.

Re doing this to reply. I have these in the classifieds. I can do the 2 1/16" hole or whatever size you need from 3/4" up to 3"
