adapt 3 gauge pillar for 01???

Has anyone adapted a 3 gauge pillar gauge mount for earlier models to the pillar in the '01 style?? Or looked into whether it can be done attractively?

according to Brent @DIS the 3 gauge A Pillar should be out within 2-3 weeks

I don't know about 01, but for my 98. 5 I took a 2gauge and a single pod, trimmed the single pod on the edge away from the gauge and fit it on the A-pillar. It's not as refined as I could've made it but I eventually will buy a 3gauge from DIS sometime. Oh, and I'm w/o tweeters.
